The excitement starts with the Gold Coast Rockabilly Retro Car Show in Worongary, where there will be a jaw-dropping lineup of 50s and 60s vintage and classic cars to drool over! This car show is themed with everything to do with the 50s and 60s, and will provide plenty of market stalls to grab a bargain from, food stalls, a licensed bar, kids’ carnival rides, and incredible live music. “Jake and the Cadillas” will set the scene with their setlist of 50s and 60s tunes as you enjoy the vintage panel vans and camper vans, hot rods and vintage sports cars, and more. There will also be a thrilling monster truck show, and an evening fireworks display!
Following on the 13th is the annual Inspirations Paint Gold Coast Car Show, now in its 8th year. Explore a big display of show cars, prestige sports cars, trucks, bikes, dragsters, 4x4s, caravans, and more at this unmissable car show. There will be dedicated arenas for each category of vehicle to be presented, with an awarding of trophies in the afternoon! Local band “Fat Albert” will have the stage providing great live music and entertainment as the car show goes on. This followup to the Rockabilly Retro Car Show will take place in the Mudgeeraba Show Grounds, and is not to be missed if you’re on the Gold Coast this August!
